The Hotel Molzbachhof was awarded the Austrian Hiking Seal of Quality in 2014. The hiking hotel is located at the foot of the Wechsel region with the Semmering, the Rax, the Schneeberg and the Hohe Wand nature paradise.

From the nature hotel to the Hermannshöhle cave
A leisurely 3.5-hour circular hike takes you directly from the Hotel Molzbachhof to the Kernstockwarte and Hermannshöhle cave.
You walk over the Ebenfeld to the Wolfgangkirche and up the Kirchengrabenweg to the Kernstockwarte. Here you can enjoy a beautiful view. Continue to the Hermannshöhle cave, the largest stalactite cave in Lower Austria. Now hike through the Talbach stream to get back to the Hotel Molzbachhof .

Hiking village Kirchberg am Wechsel
The award as a certified hiking village shows that Kirchberg am Wechsel is a great place for hiking. During a longer vacation, you can get to know the special nature around the Wechsel more closely.
The Steyersberger Schwaig (hut) is a starting point for many hikes. Hike from here to the Hochwechsel (1,743 m) or take a circular hike via the Kranichberger and Feistritzer Schwaig. Many huts await you here, which are perfect for a stopover. In winter, the 60 km long Wechsel panorama trail for cross-country skiers runs here.

On a vacation at the Hotel Molzbachhof you get everything a hiker's heart desires. Hiking rucksacks and hiking poles are available for hire at the hotel. The kitchen team will be happy to prepare a snack bag for you along the way.
Of course there is also a hiking map for orientation. If you have any further questions, the boss is always available to give you tips. You are also welcome to join him on hikes. Every week there are two guided hikes in the region around the Molzbachhof. The hiking cab will take you back to your accommodation.
