for more than 30 years

In 1991, Peter Pichler fulfilled a long-awaited wish. Under the expert guidance of Ernst Rössler, the current, fully functional "adventure mill" was built from old mills from the surrounding area. Most of the original components were used. The mill wheel was newly built by Mr. Rössler.
At the mill, rye is still ground into flour using water power, just as in the old days, and once a week, Peter Sen. bakes sourdough bread in the old stone oven. During the summer months, our guests are welcome to tour the mill and see the old tools upon request.
